Aqua Sports Adventures prides itself on providing a safe and exciting boating adventure to all the visitors of Lake Lanier. However, because of the risks associated with a fun day on the lake, certain precautions must be made. These policies are in place to keep everyone safe and to help promote an enjoyable lake experience for everyone.


Rental Policies
All DRIVERS must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license. Expired or temporary license are not acceptable. ALL DRIVERS must be present at check-in in order to sign all documents and complete an in-person safety orientation with an Aqua Sports Adventures Team Member. (No-exceptions) Effective July 1, 2014, ALL DRIVERS BY LAW must have completed a Georgia DNR Rental Education Course online or an approved Georgia Boaters Safety Course. This FREE Boater Safety Course will need to be completed before your arrival. This information will be sent to the renter in their confirmation email. It is the renter's responsibility to share the waiver link so that all members of the group can watch the video and upload their drivers license. We cannot honor Safety Cards from other rental companies. (Our Safety Cards expires 6 months from the date taken) NOTE: the Boater Safety Course is not required if you have a valid Boater License with the NASBLA symbol on it for proof of certification. All Boat Operators/Vessel Drivers must have 2 years of boating experience. Once reservations are made and it is determined that you don’t have the required minimum years of experience, or you are deemed unable to operate our vessel, your reservation will be canceled with no refund. The maximum number of drivers allowed per boat/vessel rented is 2. Passengers can be of any age. All passengers will be required to sign a Release of Liability Waiver and other terms and conditions documents as required. Minors under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian's signature. The waiver link will be emailed to the renter and it can be shared via email or text for everyone in the group. We will not allow a boat to leave the dock without a signed waiver for everyone in your party. A $500.00 security deposit on a major credit card for each boat rented is required on the day of the rental. Debit cards, check cards, cash, and checks cannot be used for a security deposit. Should you not have a credit card to secure your deposit. You will not be allowed to board the vessel and your reservation will be canceled with no refund. All Coast Guard required safety equipment is provided at no charge. We do allow dogs on the majority of our vessels. There is $40.00 pet fee per dog. A maximum of two dogs are allowed on our 21- foot Pontoons, 22- foot Pontoon, Bowriders, and Deck Boats. Once the pet fee is added to your reservation, it is non-refundable and non-transferable should you decide not to bring your pet. Please note that pets are not allowed on our new Premium Boats. During the weekday renters should arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure; On the weekends it is highly recommended that your entire party arrives 30-45 minutes prior to departure; On Holidays the renter and their guest should arrive 45-60 minutes prior to departure. Rental times cannot be extended due to late arrivals. (We always ask for your patience during check-in) Multi-day rates are available upon request and have different rental policies. Late returns will be charged $65.00 for every 15 minutes past your rental return time. Operation of our vessels after dark is prohibited. Our vessels are not to go past Browns Bridge (Hwy 369). Violation of this policy can result in a $150 fee. Should you go past the boundaries that we’ve set for safe travel and response time, and something happens to the vessel, the renter will be financially responsible use TOW Boats USA for safe return. Beaching or going ashore on ANY of Aqua Sports Adventure’s Boats/Vessels is strictly prohibited as it can cause prop, skew, hull, and toon damage. Violation will result in the forfeit of the entire security deposit plus the cost of any damages. There is No Smoking, No Open Flames, and No Grilling allowed on any boat/vessel. Violation will result in the forfeit of the entire security deposit. Fuel is not included in the rental. Each boat leaves the dock with a full tank of fuel and once the boat is returned, it is the renter’s responsibility to refuel the vessel for the amount of fuel used during the rental. Should you leave before refueling your vessel or you arrive back late after your scheduled return time, your card on file will be charged for the full amount owed plus a $50.00 Convenience Fee will be charged. There is a ZERO Tolerance Policy for the Use of Drugs or Alcohol by Designated Driver(s) for ALL BOAT/Vessel Operator/Driver. Violation will result in the forfeit of the entire security deposit. Should a member of your group be arrested or they boat taken over by law enforcement due to inability of any kind to operate the vessel due to any of the above stated reason, you security deposit is earned. Entering and exiting our dock inside of Holiday Marina is IDLE SPEED only. Violation will result in a fee. The renter despite who the vessel operator is will be financially responsible. If you make a reservation and the day of your rental it is deemed that you do not have adequate boating experience, general boating knowledge, display the inapt ability to safely operate a boat, or confess to any staff member- you will not be allowed to take the boat and your entire reservation fee is earned with no refunds or rescheduling. Additional, same policies apply if you walk down to our docks to check in with alcohol in your hand.
Reservation Policies
Reservations are for half day (4-hour), full day (8-hour), and multi-day rentals. Multi-day rentals cannot exceed 7-days. Should you need longer than a 7-day rental, a separate reservation will have to be made so that the boat can be checked-in and maintenance performed if needed. There are absolutely NO reservation holds. All reservations made must be paid in full at the time of booking. Any rescheduled booking or voucher must be made and used by the expiration date; however, in the event there is no expiration date provide all Gift Card, Vouchers expire in the same calendar year before the end of the season. Our operational calendar is on our website. Any change to a confirmed reservation will result in a $25.00+ administrative fee. A confirmed reservation will hold your vessel for up to 30 minutes after your scheduled departure time, after which it will be considered a “NO SHOW” and the entire reservation fee will be forfeited. If you are running late- Call our office and we will make accommodations. In the event that the Renter is a "NO SHOW", Renter acknowledges that they forfeit disputes with their card issuers/holder/bank, file a complaint, or process a chargeback.
